5 Food Photography Props Under $15
Food props can add up and get costly real quick, real fast. Hence why I wanted to make this list of budget-friendly props! All of these also happen to be my go-tos to the point where you’ll be able to find at least one in all of my photos. Here are 5 food photography props under $15!
1. Linen Napkin
A linen napkin is one of my favorite food photography props. The one I use the most is called “Helena Dark Natural Linen Dinner Napkin” from Crate & Barrel. Unfortunately, they don’t sell it anymore, but they do sell ones that look veryyyyy similar such as the “Marin Natural European Flax ®-Certified Linen Napkin”!

Price: $11.95
2. Parchment Paper
One of the best things about this prop is there’s a solid chance it’s already in your kitchen. I use white parchment paper the most, but brown parchment paper is a great option as well.
Price: Ranges around $3.49 – $4.49
3. Wood Cutting Board
I LOVE using wood cutting boards. I’ve gotten some absolute winners from Home Goods. Many of the cutting boards I got from there were around $12.99. If there’s a local place that has something that fits your budget and style, absolutely go there. But, if you’re looking for something more budget-friendly, Home Goods often has great options.
Price: Around $12.99
4. Flowers & Greens
Along with their delicious snacks, Trader Joe’s is also a go-to place to get flowers and greens! I most often get eucalyptus and/or baby’s breath. However, when looking, do be wary that some are not food safe.
Price: $3.99 per bunch
5. Clear Vases/Glass Containers
A clear vase and/or glass container can do wondersss for a photo. Whether it’s placed out front or is more subtle in the background, it’s a very versatile and more affordable prop. A place I’ve gone for these is Michaels!
Price: Ranges around $2.99 – $5.99
That wraps up my list of 5 food photography props under $15! Happy photographing!
